This double cutaway mahogany guitar front is adorned with a design taken from the "Concondat Commode"(shown right) built by Jean-Henri Riesener in 1774. This famous piece of high style furniture is exhibited in the Chateau de Fountainebleau in France. The design was created using curly walnut as a background with a lattice of mahogany, holly, ebony, and satinwood. "Fountainebleau" is presently available and may be purchaced as is or may be completed to the customer's specifications by Macdonald.
